Hello blog land

So I have found that I have way too much time to sit around and read about the lives of others. I should start living mine and writing about it. Well, we're going to get started on that, but a bit backwards.

I am going to start writing about my life and then beginning living it. "You're not living your life" you may ask? Yes, I am living it but not to the fullest. Not to the point where I try to find one thing about every day to inspire me to the next. I have read about those who take a picture a day and then try to blog about it. Those that just try to find something whitty or a social commentary once a day. Well, I try to read the blogs at least once a day. And in the old fashioned way, not in the way to track blogs way.

Everyday I sign on to my computer (at least once). Be it at home while I am getting ready for the day and trying to ensure that I'm not missing my bus, It can also be when I magically get to work. Here is my routine unless I have something ultra-demanding in my work e-mail or a meeting (so, lets say this happens at work twice a week).
  • Login to gmail and scan my daily e-mails. I love the DIY and have become fond of the IdealBite letter. I am still sending people the April 1st posting for this year.
  • Check afterellen.com for new video blog posts from Karman, Bridget, or Cathy
  • Turn on itunes and update my podcasts -- again, afterellen.com is a huge one for me, but we'll get to that.
  • check www.l-word.com for new posts by some of my favorite fanfiction authors. I'm a huge tibette supporter...
  • Log into myspace and see what kind of moods my celebrity stalkees are in today
Then, once I'm satisfied that hte world has started out the day without any further assistance from me, I put my nose to the grindstone for the next 8 - 10 hours. weeeeeeee!!!

So, given that last statement, my nose should be nearly 2/3rds gone by now? so why am I blogging? Because office 2007 hates me...
